Metal Gear Solid V: 20 Things You Didn't Know You Could Do

1. Use Cardboard Box Delivery Points To Unlock Fast-Travel

As mentioned earlier, the reliance on helicopter pickup points has led to many fans being increasingly angry they can't simply take the chopper from one spot to another, instead having to head back to the ACC, resupply and re-deploy. Thing is, there is a totally serviceable fast-travel system in the game - it's just a secret. You first need to unlock fast travel points by scouring any remotely larger settlement (think bigger than a watchtower), where you'll find 'Delivery Points' for boxes, each complete with an invoice you can snag off the corresponding mast. Once you have these, hopping inside a cardboard box of your own (the poster doesn't matter) will open up however many places you've recovered to travel back to. Simple. As a bonus, collecting all 12 of these invoices in Afghanistan (or nine in Africa) will result in a new item popping up on your Development menu - an invulnerable, weather-resistant box. Now you can sit out in rainstorms playing bear noise tapes all you want! Are there any we missed? Let us know in the comments what your favourite little-known MGS V tip or trick is!
