Metroid Movie Wishlist: 6 Things That Must Happen

1. Keep It Tight

Deadpool taught us that we don't always need huge budgets and infinite explosions, and now expect many films to follow this example. If done right, a Metroid movie could be made for a modest budget of around $40 million. Films like Dread and Sin City both both had budgets in this area, and they both did great jobs of creating visual representations of worlds completely unlike our own. After all, the series has never really been about huge scale battles or fleets of starships blowing each other to smithereens. Most of the allocated budget should be spend on the creature effects, with a fair amount also going into creating both the landscapes and cool looking props. Most importantly, don't cast a name actress as Samus. There's no point in blowing a third of the budget on Angelia Jolie's paycheck. If Ronda Rousey really does have the chops to play Samus, then let's hope she's okay with a paycheck with less than six zeroes. Share your wishlist for a Metroid film below in the comments thread.
