13. Megan Fox's Performance As Nitara

It was surprising to see Nitara return in MK1, considering the winged succubus has been absent from the series for 17 years.

However, it was more surprising to learn Megan Fox was cast in the role instead of an experienced voice actor. After Ronda Rousey was panned for her performance as Sonya Blade in MK11, you'd think the creators would be more cautious with their casting choices.

To be fair, this casting sounds like it should work. Since Fox played a similar character in Jennifer's Body (which is considered her best performance), it seems like the former Transformers star could pull it off.

But the second Nitara opens her mouth, you know the casting director messed up.

Her co-stars are giving their all, but Fox sounds disinterested, forced, or she's reading her lines off the script. Even though Fox is a huge fan of the series and says the character of Nitara resonates with her, none of that passion comes through in her performance.
