Mortal Kombat 11: 10 Worst Fighters You Must AVOID

4. Kano

Shao Kahn Mortal Kombat 11
NetherRealm

Kano is a mainstay of the Mortal Kombat series, having appeared in almost every entry in the past two decades. Strange, then, that NetherRealm managed to screw him up so badly in Mortal Kombat 11.

Of course, as far as the story is concerned, Kano is still his usual despicable self, albeit while not actually mattering much in regards to the overall plot. However his fighting capabilities seem to have been downgraded since MKX, and his abilities dull as dishwater.

Kano's move-set in MK11 is arguably the most uninspired of the entire roster; it's the same old rigmarole of laser eyes, knife attacks, and cannonball rushes. He doesn't have great damage nor great speed, making him a completely run of the mill character that few are likely to start with.

Kano's stagnation is all the more noticeable when characters like Johnny Cage, Sub-Zero, Sonya Blade, and Liu Kang age like a fine wine. It may be time to drop Kano off the roster for a few years and give the love to another character.
