13. D'Vorah - I Feel Pretty
Everyone whos played Mortal Kombat knows just how despicable D'vorah is. She's a disgusting, venomous, insectoid creature that has a bad habit of killing off fan favourite characters.
So her friendship where she cocoons herself up only to emerge more beautiful is a great upending of her character. The once sneering mother of maggots wraps up tight, before bursting forth with massive purple butterfly wings and raining glitter onto the arena.
It's hard not to smile as she joyfully floats about the screen sparkling away, and is a great fit for her insect theme.
