Mortal Kombat 11: Every PLAYABLE Character Confirmed So Far

A series legend villain, Shao Kahn seemingly won't play any role in the upcoming MK storyline, as he's merely a pre-order bonus. That said, his new look is fantastic and it's a huge incentive for fans to pre-order the game.

Shao Kahn is a rather odd Mortal Kombat character because he pops in and out at whim, and rarely plays any significant role in proceedings.

Yet he is a beloved character because he has been around since the beginning and his look is awesome. Well, he's back for Mortal Kombat 11 and he's wearing a cool new mask that evokes Loki, and he looks more muscular than ever.

Unfortunately, because Shao Kahn is a pre-order bonus, we've seen nothing of his actual abilities yet. That said, given his lengthy tenure, we can assume that Shao Kahn will again utilise his size, brute strength, and wield his giant hammer to crush enemies.

There's not much more known about this character as of yet, but we know him well enough to be excited to play as him... if we pre-order the game...or wait for the game of the year edition.
