Mortal Kombat Movie: Every Character Confirmed So Far
1. Nitara
Since blood is what Mortal Kombat is famed for, it's only logical that a vampire would appear in the series at some point.
Nitara is the answer to the question of "who cleans all the blood up after matches?", a vampire woman who is a little more obscure in MK lore than some of the other entries on this list.
Her realm was absorbed into Outworld after Shao Khan subjugated it, though she was able to free it with some help from Cyrax. Some of her abilities seem to borrow from fellow fighter Skarlet, as she can blast blood from her mouth at foes. She's made brief cameos across multiple games, but it has been some time since she was a playable character.
She made her first appearance in Deadly Alliance, released in 2002, and her last appearance as a playable kombatant was in Armageddon in 2006. No images have been released of Nitara, but she is on the official cast list.
Seeing those wings and her claret-drinking abilities in live-action would be invariably rad, so let's hope she gets a sizeable enough role in the full movie.
