Mortal Kombat Movie: Every Character Confirmed So Far

A strange combination of Edenian and Tarkatan DNA, Mileena is the twisted sister of Kitana and loyal follower of Shao Khan. One of the most identifiable characters in the series, anyone unlucky enough to face her have a choice of how they die - by her long Tarkatan teeth or her equally deadly sai blades.

After Shao Khan conquered Edenia, prior to the 2011 game, he was concerned about how his new adopted daughter Kitana would react should she ever regain her memories, so he demanded a loyal clone of her from Shang Tsung. This resulted in Mileena, a duplicate of Kitana in every way - except for the grace, fan blades, and regular dental appointments. The 2011 reboot saw this happening again, except more recently in the timeline.

Mileena has become one of the franchise's most iconic female characters, so much so that fans hounded Netherrealm Studios until she was finally included as DLC for Mortal Kombat 11. What started out as another basic pallette swap has endured into its own creature in the form of the gleefully sadistic Mileena.
