Mortal Kombat X: 10 Unannounced Fighters That Could Be Included
3. Kenshi
In the old timeline Kenshi was a born warrior whom traveled the world in search of worthy competition to defeat purely because of his sense of pride; but one day he is tricked by a disguised Shang Tsung into leading the sorcerer to a well containing the souls of his ancestors under the pretense it contains a great sword. Permanently blinded and left for dead; the sword, Sento, turned out to be real, called out to Kenshi then guided him out of the tomb Shang Tsung abandoned him in. Kenshi spent the next decade retraining his senses and learning to use Sento and the telekinetic abilities it gave him; then set out to seek revenge on Shang Tsung. This in turn lead him to join Jax and Sonya Blade's Outerworld Investigation Agency and he eventually died fighting for The Forces of Light during the Battle of Armageddon. Kenshi is unique in this list as he has already made a playable appearance in the new timeline established in Mortal Kombat 2011; as DLC but an appearance nonetheless. He was also one of the fighters in the background of The Pit stage, was announced as the opponent for Reiko in a fight that took place off-screen in the story mode and has played a part in the tie-in comics; forming an allegiance with Scorpion. Kenshi is a favorite of both the fans and NetherRealm Studios; he brings something different to the table. So come on NetherRealm; don''t make us pay you extra this time and make Kenshi playable from the start this time.
