Mike Conley is a solid point guard, no doubt about it, but his rating of 85 puts him above peers such as Tony Parker, the previously mentioned Derrick Rose, and ex-teammate Kyle Lowry. Conley may be a safe option, avoiding the injuries and dips of form suffered by rival point guards, but his overall game must surely be considered less spectacular. To put the overinflated nature of this rating into context, Conley's 85 puts him only two points away from Kyrie Irving and John Wall, a pair of players generally considered to be on an entirely different level to the Memphis Grizzlies stalwart.
