In previous instalments, the NBA's Developmental League has made its presence known in various ways. It has acted as something of an off-screen farm during Franchise Mode, somewhere for General Managers to shove their weaker players for a gradual stat boost over time. It was also an interesting alternative starting point in MyCareer, allowing players to truly work their way up from the bottom, rather than dominating the pre-draft combine and ensuring a first round selection. For whatever reason, the D-League has found itself excluded from NBA 2K15. It would be a welcome return, as it added a little bit of variety to the packed arenas and star-studded glamour of 2K's day-to-day gameplay.
