Fans are desperate for a return to the arcade-style delights of All-Star Weekend, without having to sit through half a season in an alternative game mode to get there. In previous games, it was usually possible to set up a quick dunk contest or three-point shootout whenever the craving hit - a much better system all round. The All-Star mode itself could do with a polish, although it's admittedly hard to see how. The dunk contest is the biggest problem, but seems a legitimately tricky event to replicate with both realism and gameplay-quality in mind. Hopefully 2K find a way to nail the formula sooner rather than later.
