A common complaint revolves around the fact that many elite players in recent 2K instalments have been all-around powerhouses, rather than excelling most at the skills they are most famous for in real life. Kobe Bryant is 36 years old now, and shouldn't be able to slash through defences with the same regularity he once did. Similarly, rebounding seems to rely more upon the bounce of the ball than the actual ability and desire of players with supposedly-high rebound ratings. In real life, luck of course plays a slight role in snatching a board, but a good rebounder will dominate a poor one nine times out of ten. This should be reflected more in-game.
