Paul is a ferocious leader and a great basketball mind, who studies other teams to the point that he knows which play they're going to pick just by the way they position themselves on the court.

Reflecting this was already attempted by the game's creators since 2K's inception, with attributes like offensive and defensive awareness but in the end, they all fell flat when your team failed to score that crucial basket or make that defensive stop. Maybe making others better at offense and defense when Paul is on the court is a good way to introduce this feature. It might not be fair or perfect, but it's a start.
