The Grizzlies are a relatively young franchise with no retired numbers, nor Hall of Fame members. That explains the inclusion of players like James Posey or O.J. Mayo, whose time on the roster was brief and without much impact felt around the league.
Bryant Reeves and Shareef Abdur-Rahim were the first two players drafted by the Grizzlies in the first round, and they were very important in establishing the Grizzlies as a full-blown, albeit unsuccessful NBA franchise.
The Gasol brothers never played together in the NBA, as one was basically traded for the other. Here both should be in the starting lineup, with Zach Randolph playing out of position as the small forward.
This will make the Grizzlies slower, but better at rebounding and scoring. It's also worth noting that three of the five starters are still on the team.
