NBA 2K20 Demo: 10 Reactions You Need To Know

3. MyCareer's Tease Sucks

After playing through the Raptors vs. Warriors game once (remember that for a later entry), a screen pops up advertising all the different editions of 2K20 fans can buy. From there, you can pick between starting a new MyPlayer builder or checking out the 2KU tutorial suite.

Pick MyPlayer and you'll be whisked to a new screen that teases being able to continue playing through MyCareer with the player you just created. This is there for when the full game is released; saved characters will be available to select and load into the career. 2K decided to leave it in there instead of going to the trouble of taking it out.

The big teases.

Being teased with the lure of an opening story chapter sucks. It made this guy believe there was more to the demo than there actually is, and it led to quite the downer when he realised it was only there for show. The tease also made the lack of available content stand out even more.
