Every year, there is always a huge amount of buzz surrounding the number one pick coming into the new NBA season. Though recent years have seen a very mixed bag from the first pick in the draft, from Markelle Fultz and Andrew Wiggins, to Ben Simmons and Karl-Anthony Towns, there was excitement and hype around Zion Williamson like never before.

The forward from Duke was hailed as the new LeBron James by just about everyone in the league, with strength and physical athleticism off the charts. Everyone was excited for his rookie season, but thanks to injuries and the lockdown break, we haven't seen nearly as much of him as we thought.

2021 will be different however. In the small sample we have seen of Zion in the NBA he has impressed, but coming into a new season with a clean bill of health will be exciting for everybody. The star of the Pelicans makes real life seem like a video game, so just imagine the things he'll be able to do on 2K21.

With Lonzo Ball distributing at point guard, there should be absolutely nothing getting in the way of every single game becoming a highlight reel of alley-oops and rim rocking dunks.
