NBA 2K21: 10 Players We Can't Wait To Get Our Hands On

6. Ja Morant

After the 2019 NBA draft, despite being taken with the second overall pick, the Memphis Grizzlies' rookie Ja Morant received relatively little hype coming into the season. Any other year, there would have been more excitement surrounding the prospect out of Murray State University, but the majority of this was reserved for the one player taken ahead of him, Zion Williamson.

With potentially a chip on his shoulder thanks to being so overlooked in terms of the Rookie of the Year Award, Morant went on to have an excellent first season in the league, ultimately winning the award for the best first-year player in the league.

Naturally, there will be quite a jump in the guard's calibre of play for his sophomore outing in the 2K series, as will be one of the most exciting young prospects to take control of.

In his first NBA season, Morant averaged 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists, numbers that could grow on a Grizzlies team for which he will have to do most of the heavy lifting. Chances are you didn't play as Morant much in his rookie year, but as a Rookie of the Year, he should be given the 2K game time he deserves.
