2. MyTEAM Will Transfer Between Generations
While MyPLAYER saves won't transfer between the two opposing generations, it has been confirmed that MyTEAM saves will transfer from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, or from Xbox One to Xbox Series X, depending which console family you choose.
This may surprise many players, particularly considering no other game saves will be carrying over. However, it will come as a pleasant bit of news, knowing that you won't have to fork out your hard-earned money to once again create your dream team.
Since it was introduced back in NBA 2K13, MyTEAM has become one of the more popular modes to play in the NBA games. While MyPLAYER and MyGM allow you to create your own path in the professional basketball industry, MyPLAYER allows you to do so, while also showing it off against fellow players online.
The mode has proven so popular that online events have been created to see who is the best MyTEAM player, with NBA 2K19 offering a tournament between PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players, with a grand prize of $250,000 up for grabs.
