You either love it or you hate it, but Takeover is making a return in 2K20 and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

Whether you build yourself up to having the dreaded sharpshooter/slasher activated or your big man turns on glass cleaner mode, Takeover can decide a game no matter what mode you play.

2K20 sees the return of badges and Takeover, with over 80 options available to either upgrade your MyPlayer with, or attach to your best squad in the MyTeam arena.

So called pointless badges like Acrobat and the Charge Card could find themselves out of the game, while there is almost certainly going to be the introduction of new badges.

The over-powered Limitless Range feature will be replaced by a new badge titled Range Extender, helping players not only extend their three-ball distance, but giving those post players the chance to work the mid-range game.

Takeover is a divisive feature among the 2K community, but if it's tinkered with correctly for this year, it has the ability to be a key aspect of game-play once again.
