7. NX Will Absorb The Wii U Hardware

The Wii U won't be totally disregarded from a technical point of view, with some of the same technology inside being transferred into the NX, and there are suggestions this could lead to backwards compatibility.

Nintendo have infamously changed the format of their games several times over the years, making your old games a little trickier to go back to as you'd have to dust off an old N64 to get back on it. There are some decent titles hidden among the third party trash from the Wii and the Wii U, so it'll be nice to have the option.
