4. New Super Mario

If Nintendo can manage a regular stream of top third-party games coming through to keep pace with Microsoft and Sony, then they can burst away from the pack with their outstanding range of original creations. Super Mario 64 is one of the most enjoyable games Nintendo have ever produced. It carved millions of childhoods and set the bar for 3D gaming. While Nintendo should be pushing for new ideas all the time, they've drifted away from the simplicity that made their games so fun to play. They just need to step back, drop the gimmicks and produce another game worthy of the Mario franchise. Super Mario Galaxy was an outstanding game, more of that needs to happen from the word 'GO'.
