2. Too Early For VR

Virtual Reality. It's going to take off very soon, with the Oculus Rift set to soar. It's a potential game-changer, and nothing says 'Nintendo' quite like VR. However, the technology needs a chance to develop, mature, and naturally work its way into the gaming market. Personally, I think its too soon for the mainstream, but you just know Nintendo are going to try something with it. It wouldn't be the worst thing to begin incorporating VR and AR (augmented reality) with consoles, and after all, AR cards are already thing - but its simply too early. Nintendo are the first to adopt innovative technology - think Wii and the motion control - yet Microsoft and Sony are more conservative. They master the tech, and then decide whether it can be implemented. VR will be huge news very soon, but we can only hope Nintendo wait for the technology to develop otherwise we'll be interested for a few months before losing all interest we had in the NX.
