Nintendo Switch: 10 Game Reveals You Might Have Missed
4. Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers
Capcom are releasing yet another Street Fighter 2? Sure, why not?
Although the redrawn art isn't new, this isn't a simple re-release of HD Remix. Ultra Street Fighter 2 is a new addition to the Street Fighter 2 edition lineage, possibly the final one. And you'll only be able to find it on the Nintendo Switch.
Ultra Street Fighter 2 packs in two new characters, SF4 stalwart Evil Ryu, and for the first time since SNK vs. Capcom, the brainwashed Violent Ken. It also brings in character rebalances and brand new gameplay features, such as throw teching, easy input controls, and a two on one co-op mode. With all these brand new features, Ultra Street Fighter 2 promises to be the definitive edition of 25 years of fighting game legacy.
Even better, since the Switch controller can split into two, players are ready for one-on-one action no matter where they go. That single feature alone could make this the best portable fighting experience money can buy.
