Nintendo Switch: 10 Obvious Flaws That Need Fixing

5. Themes

Themes are, in a word, unnecessary. They're just wallpapers for your console. A nice little picture to endlessly stare at for those of us that love spending hours looking at our home screens instead of playing any actual video games.

Sometimes - if you pay for the real top shelf stuff - they might come with some kind of animation or a funky custom song in the background. Truly, we live in the future of gaming.

It's not exactly a glaring omission for the Switch. Nobody is sending their console back for a full refund because they can't get a picture of Wario dabbing on their home screen. It would be a nice little harmless addition however, and plenty of people would happily pay out a small fee for a fancy little background - even if they only did it once.

It's also kind of ridiculous that our only options at the moment are either black or white. Whatever revolutionary idea will Nintendo think of next, a grey background? Or - gasp - an actual COLOUR? Lord have mercy.
