10. Shoot Asteroids For Resources

I ended up doing this just for the hell of it, but when flying from place to place, feel free to unload your cannons or lasers on any of the asteroids you come across.

They'll promptly explode with Resources that would otherwise take ages to mine using the tool to break them down on-foot. Theranium9 is the most common but you'll need that for launch thrusters and boosts anyway (so be sure to stock up on your way down to a planet), and you'll also find huge meteors of Nickel and Aluminium, among others.

Bonus (fun) tip: Hold circle to get up to full speed and blast straight towards one of the larger meteors. A second or two off collision, let loose a few plasma blasts and keep going - they'll create a hole just as you get there, allowing you to tear straight through to the other side in one badass motion.

Perfect for escaping any pursuers.
