Mercy is by far one of the game's best support characters, with her Caduceus Staff able to both heal allies and buff their damage. Plus, her Guardian Angel ability allows her to fly directly towards an ally for a last-minute save if need be.

Then there's the marvelous Resurrect Ult, which will bring a recently dead teammate back to life. How can you not like that? Used right, it can totally shift the tide of a match and turn things around. Hell, even her Caduceus Blaster isn't too bad, though naturally in the interest of balancing her offensive skills it's not up there with the best.
