8. 1-on-1 Control
KonamiIn keeping with PES 2015s core tenet of "The Pitch is Ours", the guys over at Konami have reworked and revitalised the games mechanics of dribbling and close control to ensure that gamers the world over feel like the ball is literally at their feet (or should it be tumb-tips?!). The developer claims to have hugely improved a players ability to beat their marker using dribbling, giving complete control to the gamer. This isnt to say that Konami have just created a super-charged version of the trick stick. PES 2015 will focus on a players use of their athleticism and control to beat a defender and not whether or not they can perform non-stop flip-flaps and Ronaldo-turns. Indeed, the developer even comments that only those that can will get away with rainbow flicks, but not every time. New techniques relying on athleticism over flashy technique include responsive sprints, jinking runs and the ability to alternate between a slow walk and an all-out sprint. This is bad news for the ultra-annoying online players who spam unrealistic tricks but excellent news for everybody else.
