Arguably Barcelona's answer to Martin ˜degaard, Halilovic has caused a stir with his nimble performances for the Catalonians' B-team, and is thought by Metro to be on the verge of a move to West Ham. Impossibly quick-footed, nimble, and difficult to knock off the ball, he arguably resembles a blond Lionel Messi - albeit one who prefers to play as an attacking midfielder, rather than a role up top. The young Croatian may only be 19 years old, but he's already helped former club Dynamo Zagreb to consecutive top flight championships (as well as a Super Cup victory). He is yet to make an appearance for Barcelona's senior squad, but was a regular member of the B squad last season. He also has seven international caps, and is the youngest player ever to play for Croatia.
