Playstation Now: 15 Titles We're Instantly Going To Revisit
4. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2)
Grand Theft Auto leapt from the top down 2D world on the PSOne, to a 3D masterpiece with GTA III. GTA III was quickly followed by the much loved Vice City - the 80s Miami Vice-based version of the franchise. Then, in 2004, Rockstar and Rockstar North released GTA: San Andreas. This game went on to be the highest-selling game on the PS2 and is still - in my opinion - the best GTA out of them all. You play as CJ, a young guy who is part of a gang and lives at the end of a fairly standard US street in Los Santos. You control CJ within an inch of his life - what he wears, what he eats, when he exercises, what house he buys: it's all there for you to delve into. The story - as with any GTA game - is excellently crafted, and gives you a real opportunity to get deep into the characters. Alternatively, you can walk around the streets starting fights with absolutely anybody you see. San Andreas increased the map size dramatically compared to Vice City and the amount of hours you can spend roaming the city and seeing things you haven't noticed before is rather insane.
