3. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (PSOne)

Where do we start with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2? The ridiculous tricks? The crazy level design? The fact that you still remember some of the cheat codes so you're able to have infinite balance whilst grinding the rails? thIS game had everything and more. It improved significantly from the first pro skater with bigger levels and more places to explore within them, all in that tiny 2 minute time limit. The aim was to complete a series of challenges during each level - once you had completed enough of them, you were allowed to move on to the next level. The more combos you can remember the better, as you strive to get the top score and all the extras hidden around. Most people will remember that you could create yourself in the game with the built in character creator. Mostly, though, you'd use it to create the strangest looking human on the planet. I spent hours on this game, perfecting the tricks, and I don't think any of the later Tony Hawk's games ever matched up to this incarnation.
