PlayStation Showcase: 10 Games We Could See

Unveiled in October of last year, the upcoming remake of Silent Hill 2 was revealed as a timed console exclusive for the PS5. With this in mind, it would be more than safe to assume it will rear its head at this upcoming showcase. Fans have been keen to see how the Bloober team will attempt to revitalise one of the most influential horror titles ever made, with some slightly sceptical and awaiting a further look before casting judgement.

The game has reportedly been in development since 2019, and the Bloober team themselves have stated that development is close to finishing up, so we could expect a full-on game play showcase and release date. With a revised combat system and new over-the-shoulder style promised, there’ll be some critical eyes all over this, especially in the wake of other incredible horror remakes like RE4.

This showcase will be the perfect stage for the developers to really show this modernised take on a horror icon and to get fans excited for the series comeback. As if this wasn’t enough, if other rumours are to be believed, this won’t be Konami’s only presence at this event.
