Pokémon Sun & Moon: 10 Forgotten Features That Must Return
1. A Second Playable Region After The Elite Four
Okay, it may be far-fetched (sorry) to hope for a second region to creep its way into Pokémon Sun & Moon but, since we have been spoiled before with generation two and its remakes, we can always hope that this might happen again, can't we?
For Gold & Silver, the decision to have the Kanto and Johto regions set close to one another was apparently made early on, so the addition of the second region for the endgame felt organic. For now, we don't know where the Alola region will be placed in terms of the larger Pokémon world, but we can certainly hope that it might be slotted in alongside the likes of Sinnoh or Unova.
It's unlikely that the developers would remake a region without giving it the benefit of a full remake, of course, so perhaps the recently seen Hoenn region could pop up again at the end of Sun & Moon.
It's probably the sunniest region that already exists in the world, and it's recently been 3D rendered, so it could be a simple one to add after the events of the seventh generation's story. I can dream...
