Not to keep going "Well Microsoft do it, so there!", but infrastructure-wise the 360 still has a few years' worth of lessons to impart to this newer generation - not to mention the option to appear offline was included in the PS3. Many owners have reported the annoyance that comes with continually adding to their Friends List, only to then either have no idea when people are coming and going, or to then be bombarded with fairly pointless party notifications. Put simply, we need an 'Appear Offline' master-switch for all the separate toggles, as yes you can go in and tweak them all on or off individually, but as was the case on the older hardware, having a simple "Yes/No" option would easily solve all problems. In addition, there's the lack of being able to sort and group friends by any means - something that should be added to combat scrolling endlessly through a gigantic all-serving list. The inclusion of custom group names such as 'Best Friends', 'Met Online', 'Destiny Raid Buddies' etc. would be a very easy way to let people get stuck into creating effective parties for specific games or experiences.
