PS4 Slim: 8 Ultimate Wishlist Features It Must Have

3. Backwards Compatibility

They said it couldn't be done, they said it would interfere with every major system and new implementation put forward so far... and then they did it anyway. At least, Microsoft did, Sony remain laser-focussed on delivering on their future - which is a nicer way to say "They'd actually really rather charge you to use PlayStation Now to play your old stuff". Either way, now that Microsoft have implemented an emulator within the Xbox One's hardware, Sony should do the same - especially seeing as the former's functionality is free. Besides, the PS3 only really has a handful of games available you'd want to revisit anyway (the Uncharted series, God of War etc.) but if you've already purchased them, there should be a way to put the disc in, authenticate your copy and get it working on the PS4 - whether that be by downloading a new copy or giving you access to the streamable PS Now version for free.
