7. USB Type-C Compatibility

One subtle change the PS5 is making to both its console and controllers, is swapping out the dusty old USB ports for USB-C compatibility.

It's a small change, but currently the USB ports on the PS4 can be a bit of a nightmare. The two on the front for controller charging do a fine enough job, but getting to the ones on the back can be an exercise in frustration depending on your set up.

Trust me, there's nothing worse than being on your hands and knees, fiddling around the back of the console and not being able to figure out which way is the correct way to slide the USB in.

USB-C will eliminate that annoyance, and overall make for faster, more efficient charging.
