8. The Leaked Dev Kit Is Real (Though Not The Final Design)

Everyone said we were crazy for believing it, but it turns out that the leaked PS5 design - you know the one, the one that had all the big vents and looked like a jet pack - is actually real.

It was only briefly mentioned in Wired's write up, but the reporter did confirm that the dev kits look almost identical to the design that was shared around the Internet.

The interesting word used there, of course, is dev kit. This is the system that studios are using to craft new games, but that almost certainly means it won't be the final consumer product. It might bare some similarities - the central 'V' design would make sense considering this is the PlayStation 5 after all - but plenty can change between now and Holiday 2020.
