PS5: 5 Must-Buy Launch Games (And 5 That Will Suck)
6. Must Buy: Assassin's Creed Valhalla
It's been a while since the Assassin's Creed games were actually about, you know, assassinations, but they've become fun, Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt-style RPG games instead. Just like the last couple of instalments, Assassin's Creed Valhalla promises to be an epic, sweeping adventure, and one which will allow players to take charge of a male or female lead character.
Taking on the role of Eivor, you forge your own path through the brutal battlefields of ninth century England, and like Egypt and Rome before it, there's bound to be plenty of action, romance, and war.
Just how much of an improvement the PS5 version will be over the version of Assassin's Creed Valhalla hitting the current generation of consoles remains to be seen, but it's a great looking game regardless, and that should translate nicely on to a device which is that little bit more powerful (particularly when it comes to loading times).
If you're not a fan of the Assassin's Creed series, then this one is unlikely to convert you, but for fans, this should be a day one purchase for sure.
