PS5: 8 Best Rumours We Want To Come True

7. Emphasise Remote Play With A New Handheld

One of the most underrated PS4 features is remote play. Initially confined to the PS Vita, it's since been expanded to be far more accessible, to the point where all it takes is a laptop and a controller to be able to play PS4 games anywhere you want (provided there's an internet connection).

It's not perfect though - and it's certainly not as simple as unhooking the Switch and plugging in the joy-cons - but it's clear that Sony are planning on making this part of the experience far more integral to the PS5.

Patents have constantly suggested that the company are looking into manufacturing another handheld, which could be a risky move if it's supported solely by its own games library, but could be a winning idea if it allows players to continue jumping into PS5 titles on the go.

They would be of course at risk of appearing to copy Nintendo, but as long as it's optional rather than the selling point, the feature could be a great addition to the console.
