Environmental destruction plays a large role in Rainbow Six: Siege and getting creative with this can create some interesting strategies that can turn the tide of battle. Ubisoft have players covered here as there are a number of operators within the game whose roles are focused primarily on making mincemeat out of the various walls, ceilings and floors that make up the maps.

Buck is arguably the best at filling the role of Siege’s resident interior decorator as his gadget, an under-barrel shotgun attachment, allows him to make holes in soft wales from a safe distance. This also allows him to use the gadget to make holes in ceilings above, which means that he can wreak havoc on the defending team from the floor below, which is something that his similarly focused teammate Sledge is unable to do.

Even for more experienced players, taking the time to learn to play Buck can help improve the all important map knowledge as well as discover how to create some imaginative lines of sight. Buck can always be a strong operator to bring along and in capable hands can cause headaches for the defending team.
