Metacritic Score: 80 The Verdict: Largely accepted to be a solid improvement upon Part 1 of this expansion pack, the second installment touts a far more compelling narrative that feels more in line with the core Pillars game. Also, much praise has been lent to the additional Story Time difficulty, which curbs the game's infamously high level of challenge (something that many critics otherwise complained about) and allows frustrated or time-starved players to power through the game as an experience. Though it certainly could have been longer than its 10-ish-hour play-time and also less linear, it is nevertheless a welcome supplement to the Pillars journey, and feels tightly-constructed with minimal filler for maximum effectiveness. In short, if you liked Part 1, you'll love Part 2.
