Fans have had to wait too damn long for another Devil May Cry game after 2013's Ninja Theory-developed DmC flopped commercially with indifferent fans - despite actually being pretty good - but in a few short months, the fifth mainline DMC will finally be here.

Returning the original Dante and Nero to playable roles while Capcom looks to be doubling down on the series' trademark chaotic, knowingly ridiculous combat, DMC5 looks like a gorgeous love letter to everything fans love about the series.

As long as it serves up the expectedly absurd story and characters alongside the controller-throwing difficulty that fans love, this one's got virtually no chance of failing.
