Ranking Every Call Of Duty Campaign From Worst To Best
12. Call Of Duty 3
Call of Duty 3 had no right to be as decent as it was. While a step down from the brilliant second game, Treyarch's first attempt at the franchise was created in a mere eight months - a ridiculous amount of time considering that each Call of Duty title today is given three years to cook before it's put in the hands of the public.
Obviously, the cracks of this condensed development period are visible in both the campaign and multiplayer, but CoD 3 still acts as a good early entry into the series.
Once again the single-player jumps around the fronts of World War 2, letting you view the war from the point of view of the British, Americans, Canadians and Polish. The latter two especially could have provided great campaigns had the title been given that little bit more time, but unfortunately there's not much to see here that would set CoD 3 apart from anything that came before or after.
It's not one that you should be kicking yourself for missing out on, but given the circumstances Call of Duty 3's campaign wasn't a bad effort from a developer working against a ridiculous deadline.
