Ranking Every Tony Hawk Game From Worst To Best
9. Tony Hawk's Project 8
While it didn't quite live up to some of its predecessors, such as Underground or American Wasteland, Tony Hawk's Project 8 was certainly a satisfactory addition to the series.
It was exceptionally fun and added some new, unique mechanics, all of which could be experienced across a new, well-designed map. Plus, it's a game that becomes exceptionally challenging at times. If you wanted to 100% Project 8's story mode and reach the top of the pack, the game was going to make you work for it.
This title's only drawback is that, compared to American Wasteland (which Project 8's format was heavily derivative of) the actual narrative as well as the classic mode felt a bit watered down and not quite as complete. Whereas American Wasteland went above and beyond, Project 8 settled for being just good enough. Still though, what matters is that it was good.
