Ranking Every Tony Hawk Game From Worst To Best

8. Tony Hawk's Underground 2

Tony Hawk's Underground 2 is a very good game that suffers from the fact that its greatest strength is also its greatest weakness. It's every bit as good as its predecessor, which is great in its own right, but in turn, it does next to nothing new. Which is a bit ironic, considering how the first Underground was a much-needed breath of fresh air for the series.

If you put Underground 2 in a bubble, it's still an objectively great Tony Hawk game. It's responsive, it's chaotic, it has some above-average level design, and above all, it's very fun.

However, if you've already played the first Underground, then, in essence, you've played Underground 2 as well. The two games have an all but identical feel to them. Sure, if something's not broken then don't fix it, but it's a game that could have benefited from some fresh ideas.
