Red Dead Online - 10 Essential Updates Rockstar MUST Add

4. Dialogue Skipping

Red Dead Online Outlaw Update
Rockstar

The characters in Red Dead are all pretty well fleshed-out in terms of their personalities. There's characters we love and ones that we all hate. But, not to bring down the well written dialogues, listening to the same list of lines over and over gets really annoying.

Whether you're working on a role such as the trader and speaking to Cripps or even working your way through the moonshiner missions, you have to sit through a scene where characters speak to you. This is all well and good the first few times it happens; but once you're past level 100 and you've heard all the lines many, many times over, you start to grow sick of it.

Simply allowing players to skip through lines like in normal RPG games or just cutting out these dialogues altogether after they've been triggered by a player would reduce the frustration of grinding for money and gold.

Red Dead online already allows players to skip cutscenes on missions (putting it to a vote if there's multiple people) so there is no reason for the same not to be done for the likes of side activities.

How many more times do we have to hear "Good news, we have another batch ready for market. Buyers are lined up, not too far from here, so all you have to do is head over and make the sale"?

Yes, that was recited from memory.
