2. Camp Spawning
One of if not the most frustrating bug currently in Red Dead Online is using the menu option of spawning at your camp only to find your character lost in the middle of an empty field.
Attempting to spawn at your camp is often a good indicator of whether the Rockstar server gods are on your side or not. Typically if a camp fails to load in a particular location it will then be near impossible to respawn the camp somewhere else.
The dreaded “Cripps has packed up your camp” still haunts gamers to this day and has been a longstanding and infamous glitch within the Red Dead community.
On rare occasions, players could return to their previously loaded camp only to find a barren patch of land. Cripps has got some explaining to do on this one.
The harshest aspect of the glitch is the camps importnance. The camp acts as the player's way of taking a break from griefers, recharging stats, completing the Trader role challenges, and petting their dog. Without the camp, side activities such as hunting become more or less irrelevant as the goods can no longer be given to Cripps to turn a profit.
The camp is a player's last bastion of serenity in an often chaotic wild west and it needs to be fixed.
