Red Dead Redemption 2: 10 Reasons It's Rockstar's Best Open-World Game
3. Hunting Is A Great Distraction
The original Red Dead's best feature was arguably its hunting, and Red Dead Redemption 2 manages to improve it in every way.
In the first Red Dead Redemption, hunting was a great side activity that saw you killing endless amounts of animals just for their fur. As fun as that was, Red Dead Redemption 2 adds a lot of depth to the activity and makes it so much better.
Animals now provide food for either the player or the camp, which means that hunting actually has a purpose besides giving money. Each animal also has different quality ratings and can even require different types of ammo to successfully take down.
Arthur also has access to an ability called 'Eagle Eye', which makes it possible for him to track animals easily.
The first time you ever skin an animal in Red Dead Redemption 2 will stick with you for a long time, and that's a testament to how great the detail is.
Let's hope this is a big focus for Red Dead Online.
