Red Dead Redemption 2: 10 Things Nobody Wants To Admit
6. Internal Squabbling Is Unsettling
It's always awkward when news breaks of internal conflict before games are released. Disagreements are one thing; they can be worked around and are only natural when so many passionate people are working on the same project. Things become a bit more worrying when key personnel resign outright from the game's development.
That happened late last year, and it doesn't bode well. Rockstar themselves can't be happy to have a divide so close to release either. They're expecting Red Dead 2 to be an automatic success that rakes in millions for the company, not a troublesome follow up that causes unrest in their ranks.
The pressure is astounding.
There's a lot of strain on Rockstar to ensure this follow up is a Marston-beater. The whole thing is unsettling to those who wish to believe their pre-orders are safe. There's already been one major pushback in scheduling, and it'd irritate a lot of folks if internal squabbling caused another.
