Red Dead Redemption 2: 9 Leaked Details You're Not Supposed To Know
1. You Can Expect A Trailer Within The Week
As mentioned earlier, we've known from an independent source that 'Red Dead 3' has been in the works for years now, and that same source has indicated that Rockstar are planning to drop a trailer very soon.
The idea of releasing a tantalisingly recoloured logo on social media is more a way to say, "Hey guys, remember Red Dead?", before the team will unveil a full teaser in the coming days.
This follows on from the rumours that Retribution was supposed to be shown at E3, before the horrific Orlando shootings meant that a trailer glorifying a roomful of people being gunned down wasn't anywhere close to appropriate. Rockstar have apparently sat on the game since then, also not showing up at August's PlayStation Meeting, presumably for the sake of dropping Red Dead out of nowhere, and generating instant hype outside of an established press event.
To be fair, it worked wonders for Pokémon GO, and that had one of the most positive receptions of any game, ever. Imagine if Rockstar just said, "Here's a trailer, it's out next week."
We can but hope.
